[CS656] Software Engineering Economics

Spring 2016

Objective: As software size is getting bigger and more complex, it is very hard to lead software projects successful. During the course of software development, project managers need to solve various problems related to people, economic values, and software techniques. The primary objectives of this course are to enable the students to understand the fundamental principles underlying software management and economics; to analyze management situations via case studies; to analyze software cost/schedule tradeoff issues via software cost estimation tools and microeconomic techniques; and to apply the principles and techniques to practical situations.
